The Art of Polyhedral Paper Folding
Author: Byriah Loper
Modular origami is also known as unit origami or geometric origami. This is one of my favourite origami technique.
Modular origami consist of multiple pieces of folded paper (units) that are woven together into a single model. These composite forms range from simple geometric polyhedrons to ornately embellished floral spheres. Using basic geometry concepts and simple paper folding techniques, folders can turn multiple flat pieces of paper into a dynamic three dimensional model.
In this book discover the beautifully complex world of polyhedral modular origami. The easy-to-follow diagrams and step-by-step instructions in this book show you how to fold and assemble a variety of polyhedral and ‘wire frame’ models. Assembling each model is an exciting challenge, which results in an incredible paper sculpture that is well worth the effort.
